The MRI Scan Center was the first freestanding MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) center in the state of Florida!  We opened for business the very same day of FDA approval on April 1, 1984.

Since then, our multiple MRI Scan & Imaging Centers have provided MRI services to over 500,000 patients utilizing four different scanners ranging from low-field open systems (Siemens Magnetom Open) to the high-field strength scanner (Siemens Magnetom Vision). In May of 1986, we received delivery of the first mobile MRI Imager in Florida, and one year later we introduced the first open scanner in Florida.
